"Joining Up" with a horse.
This video is an example of free leading. The horse should willingly follow you around. The demonstrated hand signals, use your own, give the horse the oppurtunity, through free choice, to follow you (join-up). This is a demonstration with a horse that has not been worked with in this manner very often (early stages). Moods, both yours and the horse's, will vary results. You should always enter into the round pen with a clear mind. Trust must be well established before you attempt this or your results will probably not be satisfactory.
